NEAX2000 is a fully IP and TDM (time division) switching platform developed by NEC. It has a complete set of features and is a new generation of digital user switches (IP PBX). IP-based voice communication can be used in both LANs and WANs. NEAX2000 supports both pure IP switching (peer-to-peer connection) and traditional time division switching. Pure IP switching can be done between IP terminals (Dterm IP, IP soft phone) or through CCIS network connection NEAX2000 or NEAX2400 switching machine (CCIS over IP). Time division switching is done between traditional network ports (extensions, relays, etc.), and IP terminals (Dterm IP, IP soft phone) or IP-based CCIS connections with traditional time division ports (extensions) can be connected through various methods, such as CCIS-based connections. Based on H.323 protocol connection method.
