Prostar 6900 is an enterprise-class storage server that is designed to meet the needs of users who want enterprise-class computing power but are on a budget. It is suitable for data-intensive computing environments. The storage capacity is up to 168TB. It has 8 4GB host channels and 8 4GB disk expansion ports, which can support up to 224 fiber channel disk drives. When used with a 4Gb SAN switch, Prostar 6900 can create a complete 4Gb enterprise SAN environment.
