This document introduces the RDE20.1 room temperature controller from Siemens Building Technologies, which features a 7-day timer switch, LCD display, and remote temperature sensor. It is designed for heating systems and can control components such as thermal valves or zone valves, gas or oil burners, fans, and pumps. The controller can maintain the room temperature setpoint by obtaining temperature readings from the built-in or external temperature sensors and issuing control commands. It offers normal and energy-saving modes, and can be switched automatically or manually using the 7-day timer switch.
