The Cisco 2800 Series Integrated Multiservice Routers deliver higher performance, enhanced security and voice features, new embedded service options, and greater slot performance and density. It retains support for most existing interface cards and modules for the Cisco 1700 Series and Cisco 2600 Series routers. It is comprised of four new platforms: the Cisco 2801, Cisco2811, Cisco 2821 and Cisco 2851, which can deliver multiple high-quality synchronous services at line rate over multiple T1/E1/xDSL connections.
