This document describes the features and characteristics of the Modular Controller (MBC) as part of the APOGEE Field Management and Control System. The MBC is a high-performance modular direct digital control (DDC) controller that can work independently or be networked with other field systems to achieve complex control, monitoring, and energy management functions. It supports central monitoring and control of FLN devices and other field systems, and allows communication between up to 100 MBCs on a network.
