An enamel color and preparation method and application thereof in the restoration of porcelain enameled cultural relics are disclosed. The enamel color includes the following chemical components and the mass fraction of each component: 33%-51% SiO2, 0%-3.8% Al2O3, 8%-19% B2O3, 31%-53% PbO, 0%-6% CaO+MgO, 0%-6.9% Na2O+K2O, 0.5%-6% Sb2O3, 0%-7.2% SnO, 0%-6.5% As2O3, 0%-13% Fe2O3, 0%-4.2% CuO, 0%-4% CoO, 0%-9% MnO, 0-2% Ag, and 0%-0.15% Au. The enamel color provided by the invention has a lower melting point than traditional enameled porcelain, and can melt with the ancient enamel color layer at high temperature. It can match the thermal expansion coefficient of the surface glaze and the color layer of traditional enamel. It has good adhesion, good adhesion before burning, easy to disperse, and the surface tension of the material is moderate during melting. It meets the melting property and maintains a certain three-dimensional shape of the painted color.
