The use of short, small-particle columns allows for fast and efficient separations. The smaller particle size (3.5µm) provides similar separation efficiency to 5µm particles in columns that are twice as long. Increasing the flow rate on the 3.5µm, 75 mm column further decreases the run-time. The efficiencies achieved are nearly equivalent to those of the 5µm, 150 mm column run at a slower flow rate. This application is focused on agrichemicals.
