These inductors are optimized for National's LM259X Series and are suitable for high frequency switching converters, such as Buck or Boost converters, as well as output averaging filter inductors. They are also suitable for high quality filter applications. The product has a switching frequency of 150kHz and 500kHz and is a low-cost inductor.
The EPI AC3 series inductors are optimized for National's LM267X and LM259X series. It uses low loss material and can work in high frequency switching converters, such as buck, boost or as output averaging filter inductor. EPI AC3 series inductors are also suitable for use in high quality filter applications.
