OSTEOMARK NTx Urine kit Manual
Osteomark® NTx Urine test kit is produced by Tianjin Hopeyear Medical Products Co., Ltd. The kit can quantitatively detect I-type collagen cross-linked amino terminal peptide (NTx) in human urine. NTx is a marker of bone resorption. The increased level of urine NTx indicates the increased level of bone resorption. The kit can be used to predict the bone response (bone mineral density) of postmenopausal women treated with hormone anti-absorption therapy. Treatment monitoring: anti-absorption treatment of postmenopausal women, anti-absorption treatment of patients diagnosed with osteoporosis, anti-absorption treatment of patients diagnosed with Paget's disease, and hormone suppression treatment. Verification of the association between calcium supplementation and bone density reduction one year after hormone anti-absorption treatment in postmenopausal women.
