FLEX-SOL-XL is a single-pole solar cable with double insulation and copper stranded conductor. This cable is robust, flexible and space-saving, ensuring consistent electrical and mechanical performance over the entire lifetime of the PV installation. FLEX-SOL-XL cables are insulated with a chemically cross-linked compound that, in contrast to radiated cross-linked material, has a complete and controlled deep cross-linking over the entire cable jacket thickness. The chemical cross-linking process results in an overall higher process reliability and thus higher reproducibility and material homogeneity, which gives the FLEX-SOL-XL cables their excellent mechanical and thermal properties: high mechanical load capacity, high temperature resistance and cold flexibility. In addition, our FLEX-SOL-XL cables are flame retardant, halogen-free, RoHS-compliant and have a particularly low smoke development in the event of a fire. Thanks to its quality and approvals (TUV-tested, UL approval in progress), the FLEX-SOL-XL solar cable is suitable for use in outdoor applications such as photovoltaic power systems.
