This data sheet introduces the features and characteristics of Exar XR16L2752 2.25V to 5.5V DUART.

The SP6656 is a 400mA synchronous buck regulator that is ideal for portable applications that use a Li-Ion or 3 cell alkaline/NiCD/NiMH input. The SP6656’s proprietary control loop, 20µA light load quiescent current, and 0.3Ω power switches provide excellent efficiency across a wide range of output currents. As the input battery supply decreases towards the output voltage the SP6656 seamlessly transitions into 100% duty ratio operation further extending useful battery life. The SP6656 is protected against overload and short circuit conditions with a precise inductor peak current limit. Other features include externally programmable output voltage down to 1.0V, dynamically adjustable output voltage, logic level shutdown control, and 140°C over temperature shutdown.

MP7533 is a 10-bit multiplying digital-to-analog converter with 10-bit accuracy, low power consumption, and can be used in digital-to-analog multiplication, CRT character generation, programmable power supplies, digitally controlled gain circuits, etc.

The MP7528 is a dual 8-bit digital-to-analog converter with on-chip latches, operating voltage range of +5V to +15V, 1% DAC matching accuracy, four quadrant multiplication, and other features. It is suitable for applications such as microprocessor controlled gain circuits, attenuator circuits, function generators, precision AGC circuits, and bus structured instruments.

XRP7620 is a multi purpose 4-channel independently adjustable current sink driver from Exar company. It supports I2C interface and can realize independent control of each channel and 0.5mA step programming for uniform display brightness. XRP7620 can be applied in LED backlighting, RGBW/RGBA color mixing, cell phones and handheld devices.

SP322 is a programmable V.11 or V.35 transceiver IC from Sipex Corporation. It contains three drivers and three receivers in each mode and can be switched between V.11 and V.35 modes by the V.11/V.35 select pin. The V.11 transceivers can typically operate at 10Mbps while adhering to the ITU V.11 specifications. The V.35 transceivers can operate up to 10Mbps while adhering to the ITU V.35 specifications. The SP322 also contains internal resistor termination for compliant V.35 operation.

XR16M580 is an enhanced Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter (UART) with 16 bytes of transmit and receive FIFOs, selectable transmit and receive FIFO trigger levels, automatic hardware and software flow control, and data rates of up to 16 Mbps at 3.3V, 12.5 Mbps at 2.5V and 7.5 Mbps at 1.8V with 4X data sampling rate.

It has also passed the ±15kV Human Body Model, ±15kV IEC1000-4-2 Air Discharge, and ±8kV IEC1000-4-2 Contact Discharge tests.

The XR16M781 is an Exar 1.62V to 3.63V serial communication chip with a VLIO bus interface and 64-byte FIFO. It supports 3.3V, 2.5V and 1.8V power supplies, with a maximum data transfer rate of 20 Mbps, 16 Mbps and 10 Mbps.

The SP481R and SP485R are pin-to-pin equivalent with our existing SP485 product and contain enhancements such as higher ESD tolerance and high receiver input impedance. The higher receiver input impedance allows for connecting over 400 transceivers on a single transmission line without degrading the RS-485 driver signal. Each device is packaged in an 8-pin plastic DIP or 8-pin narrow SOIC package. The SP481R offers a shutdown feature via the enable pins which will reduce the supply current (ICC) below 0.5µA typical.
