  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC1255 Manual

The LTC1255 is a dual 24V high-side MOSFET driver that allows using low cost N-channel FETs for high-side industrial and automotive switching applications. An internal charge pump boosts the gate drive voltage above the positive rail, fully enhancing an N-channel MOS switch with no external components. Low power operation, with 12µA standby current, allows use in virtually all systems with maximum efficiency. Included on-chip is independent overcurrent sensing to provide automatic shutdown in case of short circuits. A time delay can be added to the current sense to prevent false triggering on high in-rush current loads. The LTC1255 operates from 9V to 24V supplies and is well suited for industrial and automotive applications. The LTC1255 is available in both an 8-pin DIP and an 8-pin SOIC.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT1616 handbook

This document introduces the LT1616 600mA, 1.4MHz step-down switching regulator, which uses an internal 0.6A power switch and is packaged in a tiny 6-lead SOT-23. The wide input range of 3.6V to 25V makes the LT1616 suitable for regulating a wide variety of power sources, from 4-cell batteries and 5V logic rails to unregulated wall transformers and lead-acid batteries. Its high operating frequency allows the use of tiny, low cost inductors and ceramic capacitors. With its internal compensation eliminating additional components, a complete 400mA step-down regulator fits onto 0.15 square inches of PC board area. The constant frequency current mode PWM architecture and stable operation with ceramic capacitors results in low, predictable output ripple. Current limiting provides protection against shorted outputs. The low current (<1µA) shutdown provides complete output disconnect, enabling easy power management in battery-powered systems.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC3421 Manual

LTC3421/3421f is a low-power synchronous boost converter with a maximum operating frequency of 3MHz. The input voltage range is 0.5V~4.5V, and the output voltage range is 2.4V~5.25V. It has synchronous rectification, output disconnect, inrush current limiting, low quiescent current, high efficiency, programmable current limit, programmable soft start, synchronous oscillator, manual or automatic burst mode, low battery comparator and other characteristics.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC3714 Manual

The LTC3714 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller for CPU power. An output voltage between 0.6V and 1.75V is selected by a 5-bit code (Intel mobile VID specification). The controller uses a constant on-time, valley current control architecture to deliver very low duty cycles without requiring a sense resistor. Operating frequency is selected by an external resistor and is compensated by a compensation capacitor. The device offers a fast switching rate and is stable in high input voltage ranges. It also features good protection in short circuit conditions.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC1594/LTC1598 Manual

The LTC1594/LTC1598 are micropower, 12-bit sampling A/D converters that feature 4- and 8-channel multiplexers, respectively. They typically draw only 320µA of supply current when converting and automatically power down to a typical supply current of 1nA between conversions. The LTC1594 is available in a 16-pin SO package and the LTC1598 is packaged in a 24-pin SSOP. Both operate on a 5V supply. The 12-bit, switched-capacitor, successive approximation ADCs include a sample-and-hold. On-chip serial ports allow efficient data transfer to a wide range of microprocessors and microcontrollers over three or four wires. This, coupled with micropower consumption, makes remote location possible and facilitates transmitting data through isolation barriers. The circuit can be used in ratiometric applications or with an external reference. The high impedance analog inputs and the ability to operate with reduced spans (to 1.5V full scale) allow direct connection to sensors and transducers in many applications, eliminating the need for gain stages.
