  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC3778 Manual

The LTC3778 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller for computer memory, automobile and other DC/DC power supplies. The controller uses a valley current control architecture to deliver very low duty cycles without requiring a sense resistor. Operating frequency is selected by an external resistor and is compensated for variations in VIN and VOUT. Discontinuous mode operation provides high efficiency operation at light loads. A forced continuous control pin reduces noise and RF interference, and can assist secondary winding regulation when the main output is lightly loaded. SENSE+ and SENSE– pins provide true Kelvin sensing across the optional sense resistor or the sychronous MOSFET. Fault protection includes overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown and short-circuit protection.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT3510 Manual

The LT3510 is a dual current mode PWM step-down DC/DC converter with two internal 2.5A switches. It supports a wide input voltage range of 3.1V to 25V and has independent power supply inputs, feedback, soft-start and power good pins.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC3709 Fast 2-Phase No RSENSE Synchronous DC/DC Controller with Tracking/Sequencing handbook

The LTC ®3709 is a single output, dual phase, synchronous step-down switching regulator that offers high efficiency and low power consumption.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC1530 Manual

The LTC1530 is a high power synchronous switching regulator controller optimized for 5V to 1.3V-3.5V output applications. Its synchronous switching architecture drives two external N-channel MOSFET devices to provide high efficiency. The LTC1530 contains a precision trimmed reference and feedback system that provides worst-case output voltage regulation of ±2% over temperature, load current and line voltage shifts. Current limit circuitry senses the output current through the on-resistance of the topside N-channel MOSFET, providing an adjustable current limit without requiring an external low value sense resistor. The LTC1530 includes a fixed frequency PWM oscillator that free runs at 300kHz, providing greater than 90% efficiency in converter designs from 1A to 20A of output current. Shutdown mode drops the LTC1530 supply current to 45µA. The LTC1530 is specified for commercial and industrial temperature ranges and is available in the S0-8 package.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT3508 Manual

The LT3508 is a dual current mode PWM step-down DC/DC converter with internal power switches capable of generating two 1.4A outputs.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC2915/LTC2916 Voltage Supervisor with 27 Selectable Thresholds

LTC2915/LTC2916 are low voltage single-supply monitors with selectable thresholds. The parts operate from 1.5V to 5.5V and consume a quiescent current of only 30μA. Two three-state inputs select one of nine internally programmed thresholds without the need for external resistors. For the LTC2915, an additional three-state input determines the tolerance (-5%, -10%, -15%). The tolerance for the LTC2916 is fixed at -5%. Threshold accuracy is guaranteed at ±1.5% over the entire operating temperature range. Glitch filtering ensures reliable reset operation without false triggering. The reset timeout may be set to 200ms or adjusted using an external capacitor. A separate manual reset input on the LTC2916 allows a simple push button interface. Operation to 125°C makes the LTC2915 and LTC2916 suitable for automotive applications.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT1220 45MHz 250V/ s Operational Amplifier handbook

The LT1220 is a high gain, high bandwidth, high precision, single-stage operational amplifier with low input bias current, low input offset voltage, high output swing, and fast settling time. It can be used in high-precision measurement, data acquisition, buffer, cable driver and other fields.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT1166 Manual

The LT1166 is a bias generating system for controlling class AB output current in high powered amplifiers.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC3035 Manual

The LTC3035 is a micropower, VLDO™ (very low drop-out) linear regulator which operates from input voltages as low as 1.7V. The device is capable of supplying 300mA of output current with a typical dropout voltage of only 45mV. To allow operation at low input voltages the LTC3035 includes a charge pump generator that provides the necessary bias voltage for the internal LDO circuitry. Output current comes directly from the input supply for high efficiency regulation. The charge pump bias generator requires only a 0.1µF flying capacitor and a 1µF bypass capacitor for operation. The low 0.4V internal reference voltage allows the LTC3035 to be programmed to much lower output voltages than commonly available in LDOs. The output voltage is programmed via two tiny SMD resistors. The LTC3035’s low quiescent current makes it an ideal choice for use in battery-powered systems. Other features include high output voltage.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT3742 Manual

The LT3742 is a dual step-down DC/DC switching regulator controller from Texas Instruments. The device operates at a frequency of 500kHz and has an input voltage range of 4V to 30V. The output voltage range is 0.8V to VIN. The device uses a 2-phase antiphase output architecture to reduce output voltage ripple and minimize interference with the input supply, reducing the need for input capacitance. The device also integrates a 0.8V voltage reference and a 500kHz current mode control loop, which can provide bias power for N-channel MOSFETs and support low dropout and 100% duty cycle operation. The device also has a built-in soft-start function. The device is available in a 4mm×4mm QFN package and has a very low power consumption of only 20μA in standby mode.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT3500 Manual

LT3500 is a monolithic 2A step-down regulator plus linear regulator/controller. It has a wide input range: 3V to 40V, which makes it suitable for a variety of power sources, including automotive batteries, 24V industrial supplies and unregulated wall adapters. The device also has resistor-programmable 250kHz to 2.2MHz frequency range and synchronization capability, which enable optimization between effi ciency and external component size. Cycle- by-cycle current limit, frequency foldback and thermal shutdown provide protection against a shorted output. Soft-start feature can control the ramp rate of the output voltage, eliminating input current surge during start-up, and also provides output tracking. LT3500 also contains an internal NPN transistor, which has feedback control and can be configured as a linear regulator or a linear regulator controller. LT3500's low current shutdown mode (<12μA) enables easy power management in battery-powered systems.
