  • intersil HC-55564/883 handbook

HC-55564/883 is a half duplex modulator/demodulator CMOS integrated circuit used to convert voice signals into serial NRZ digital data and to reconvert that data into voice. The conversion is by delta-modulation, using the Continuously Variable Slope (CVSD) method of modulation/demodulation. While the signals are compatible with other CVSD circuits, the internal design is unique. The analog loop filters have been replaced by very low power digital filters which require no external timing components. This approach allows inclusion of many desirable features which would be difficult to implement using other approaches. The fundamental advantages of delta-modulation, along with its simplicity and serial data format, provide an efficient (low data rate/low memory requirements) method for voice digitization. The device may be easily configured with the National TP3040 PCM/CVSD filter. The HC-55564/883 is usable from 9k bits/sec to above 64kbps. For more applications information, see Application Notes AN576 and AN607.

  • intersil RF3V49092 RF3S49092SM handbook

RF3V49092, RF3S49092SM are 20A/10A, 12V logic level complementary power MOSFETs manufactured using an advanced MegaFET process. They offer outstanding performance and are designed for applications such as switching regulators, switching converters, motor drivers, relay drivers, and low voltage bus switches. These MOSFETs achieve full rated conduction at a gate bias in the 3V to 5V range, enabling true on-off power control directly from logic level (5V) integrated circuits.

  • intersil ISL81334 ISL41334 handbook

ISL81334, ISL41334 ±15kV ESD Protected, Two Port, Dual Protocol Transceivers

  • intersil ISL81334 ISL41334 handbook(1)

ISL81334, ISL41334 ±15kV ESD Protected, Two Port, Dual Protocol Transceivers The ISLX1334 are two port interface ICs where each port can be independently configured as a single RS-485/422 transceiver, or as a dual (2 Tx, 2 Rx) RS-232 transceiver. With both ports set to the same mode, two RS-485/422 transceivers, or four RS-232 transceivers are available. If either port is in RS-232 mode, the onboard charge pump generates RS-232 compliant ±5V Tx output levels from a single VCC supply as low as 4.5V. Four small 0.1µF capacitors are required for the charge pump. The transceivers are RS-232 compliant, with the Rx inputs handling up to ±25V, and the Tx outputs handling ±12V. In RS-485 mode, the transceivers support both the RS-485 and RS-422 differential communication standards. The receivers feature "full failsafe" operation, so the Rx outputs remain in a high state if the inputs are open or shorted together. The transmitters support up to three data rates, two of which are slew rate limited for problem free communications. The charge pump disables when both ports are in RS-485 mode, thereby saving power, minimizing noise, and eliminating the charge pump capacitors. Both RS-232 and RS-485 modes feature loopback and shutdown functions. Loopback internally connects the Tx outputs to the corresponding Rx input, to facilitate board level self test implementation. The outputs remain connected to the loads during loopback, so connection problems (e.g., shorted connectors or

  • intersil ISL4089 handbook

The ISL4089 is a complete DC-restored monolithic video amplifier sub-system. It contains a high performance video amplifier and a nulling, sample-and-hold amplifier designed to establish a programmable DC output level. When the HOLD logic input “0” is applied the DC restore function is active. The sample-and-hold amplifier loop is closed and used to null the DC offset of the video amplifier. This can occur during sync, or, at any time that a black level is expected. When the HOLD input “1” is applied, the correcting voltage is stored on the video amplifier’s input coupling capacitor. This condition must be true during active video. The restored DC voltage level can be adjusted using an external reference voltage applied to the VREF pin. The device operates from a single +5V supply and is ideal for +5V only systems when used with a sync separator, such as the EL1883. The ISL4089 is intended to directly replace the EL4089 only in certain applications. This direct replacement requires that the single positive supply is no higher than +5.5V and that no part of the clamped output goes below -0.5V.
