ADuM3470/ADuM3471/ADuM3472/ADuM3473/ADuM3474 are four-channel digital isolators that integrate a PWM controller and a transformer driver for driving isolated DC/DC converters. The DC/DC converter is based on Analog Devices’ iCoupler® technology and provides a regulated isolated power supply of 2 W, 3.3 V to 24 V, with an input supply voltage of 5.0 V or 3.3 V. This eliminates the need for a separate isolated DC/DC converter in 2 W isolated designs. iCoupler chip-scale transformer technology is used for isolation of logic signals; the integrated transformer driver with isolated secondary control enhances the efficiency of the isolated DC/DC converter, thus providing a small-sized, fully isolated solution. ADuM347x isolators provide four independent isolation channels supporting a variety of channel configurations and data rates.
