The STF203 is a combination EMI filter and line termination device with integrated TVS diodes for use on upstream USB ports. It is constructed using a proprietary technology that allows passive components and TVS diodes to be integrated in the same package. Each device will provide termination, filtering, and ESD protection for one upstream USB port. The STF203 is an easily implemented solution for meeting the requirements of revision 1.1 of the Universal Serial Bus specification. Line termination is achieved with series resistors on both the D+ and D- USB lines. The value of series resistance added to the output impedance of the USB driver must be as close to possible to the 45Ω characteristic impedance of the cable (90Ω balanced) to minimize transmission line reflections. They are available with resistor values of 15Ω (STF203-15), 22Ω (STF203-22), and 33Ω (STF203-33). The 1.5kΩ pull-up resistor is required by the USB specification to identify the equipment as either a full-speed (connected to D+ line) or low-speed (connected to D- line) device. The 47pF capacitors are required to bypass high frequency energy to ground and to control the edge rate of the USB signals. The TVS diodes provide ESD protection of both (D+ & D-) data lines and the voltage bus (VBUS)

sc4431 is a four terminal device for regulating an isolated power supply with very low output voltage. it is intended to be used as a replacement for three terminal shunt regulators such as sc431l where the output voltage is too low for them to function in conjunction with an opto-isolator. it achieves this by having separate supply and output pins, allowing the output to sink current at voltages as low as 0.2v, while the supply pin still has sufficient voltage for the device to function. in this way, allowing for a 1.6v drop through an opto-isolator diode, regulation down to 1.8v out can be achieved. the sc4431 shunt regulator is available with three initial reference voltage accuracies (0.5%, 1.0% and 2.0%) in the space saving 5-lead sot-23 package. the three voltage tolerances allow the designer the opportunity to select the proper cost/tolerance for their application.

The SC431 is a three terminal adjustable shunt regulator with thermal stability guaranteed over temperature. The output voltage can be adjusted to any value from 2.5V (VREF) to 36V with two external resistors. The SC431 has a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.25Ω. Active output circuitry provides a very sharp turn on characteristic, making the SC431 an excellent replacement for zener diodes. The SC431 shunt regulator is available in three voltage tolerances (0.5%, 1.0% and 2.0%) and three package options (SOT-23-3, SO-8 and TO-92). The three voltage tolerances allow the designer the opportunity to select the proper cost/tolerance for their application.

The SC4211 is a high performance positive voltage regulator designed for use in applications requiring very low Input voltage and very low dropout voltage at up to 1 amp. It operates with a Vin as low as 1.4V, with output voltage programmable as low as 0.5V. The SC4211 features ultra low dropout, ideal for applications where Vout is very close to Vin. Additionally, the SC4211 has an enable pin to further reduce power dissipation while shut down. The SC4211 provides excellent regulation over variations in line, load and temperature. The SC4211 is available in the SOIC-8EDP (Exposed Die Pad) package. The output voltage can be set via an external divider or to 0.5V depending on how the FB pin is configured.
