This manual provides guidance and reference materials on the format and quality standards of UNICEF-supported research, evaluation, and data collection and analysis activities. The manual can be used in conjunction with the China Government and UNICEF Program Project Execution Manual, which provides information on project implementation processes and general requirements. It is recommended that this manual be provided to researchers or evaluators early on in the research activity in order to clearly define the work processes and requirements.
