The MAX4645/MAX4646 are single-pole, single-throw (SPST) analog switches with a typical on-resistance (RON) of 2.5Ω and a flatness of 0.4Ω. The switches can handle Rail-to-Rail analog signals and have low power requirements, small board space, and high reliability compared to mechanical relays. They are ideal for low-distortion applications and are the preferred solution in automated test equipment or applications where current switching is required. They operate from a +1.8V to +5V supply, making them suitable for battery-powered applications. The switches have fast switching speeds and low leakage currents. The MAX4645 is a normally open (NO) switch, and the MAX4646 is a normally closed (NC) switch.
