The AD5100 is a system management IC from Analog Devices for automotive applications. It has 6 factory programmed monitoring inputs and 2 device enabling outputs. The device has two 30 V monitoring inputs that can be used to control external device shutdown. AD5100 also has factory programmed overvoltage, undervoltage, turn-on and turn-off thresholds and shutdown timings. Shutdown warning with fault detection is available through AD5100. AD5100 also has 5 V and 7.96 V monitoring inputs that can be used to control external device reset. The device also has factory programmed reset thresholds and hold time. AD5100 also has two monitoring functions: watchdog reset controller and optional floating input. AD5100 also has digital interface and programmability for external devices.
