Microchip Technology Inc. 24C01A/02A/04A is a 1K/2K/4K bit Electrically Erasable PROM. The device features low power CMOS technology, hardware write protect, and a two wire serial interface bus compatible with I2C. It operates at 5.0V only and has a self-timed write cycle with auto-erase. The device has a page-write buffer, 1ms write cycle time for single byte, and guarantees 1,000,000 Erase/Write cycles. It has a data retention of over 200 years and is available in 8-pin DIP/SOIC packages. The device is suitable for extended temperature ranges.
