The ADN8102 Rev. B is a quad bidirectional CX4 equalizer from Analog Devices that supports DC to 3.75 Gbps data. It features programmable input equalization with up to 22 dB boost, compensating up to 30 meters of CX4 cable and 40 inches of FR4. It also offers programmable output pre-emphasis/de-emphasis with up to 12 dB boost, compensating up to 15 meters of CX4 cable and 40 inches of FR4. The ADN8102 Rev. B operates from a flexible 1.8 V to 3.3 V core supply, supports per lane P/N pair inversion for routing ease, consumes low power of 125 mW/channel at up to 3.75 Gbps, and features DC- or ac-coupled differential CML inputs. It also offers programmable CML output levels, a 50 Ω on-chip termination, loss-of-signal detection, and a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The ADN8102 Rev. B supports 8b10b, scrambled, or uncoded NRZ data and features an I2C control interface. It is packaged in a 64-lead LFCSP (QFP) package.
