ANALOG DEVICES AD7829-1 handbook

Update: 28 September, 2023

The AD7829-1 is a high speed 8-channel, microprocessor-compatible, 8-bit analog-to-digital converter with a maximum throughput of 2 MSPS. The AD7829-1 is an 8-bit half-flash ADC with a conversion time of 420 ns. It features eight single-ended analog input channels and is available with input offset adjust. It has an on-chip track-and-hold circuit and provides SNR performance for input frequencies up to 10 MHz. The AD7829-1 also includes an on-chip reference voltage (2.5 V) and automatically enters power-down mode at the end of conversion. It has a wide operating supply range of 3 V ± 10% and 5 V ± 10%. The input ranges are 0 V to 2 V p-p (VDD = 3 V ± 10%) or 0 V to 2.5 V p-p (VDD = 5 V ± 10%). The AD7829-1 has a flexible parallel interface with an EOC pulse to allow stand-alone operation.
