The Canon EF14mm f/2.8L II USM lens is a high-performance, ultra-wide-angle lens developed exclusively for EOS cameras. Its features include aspherical lens elements and UD ultra-low dispersion lens elements that deliver clear, crisp images; a USM (ultrasonic motor) for silent and high-speed autofocus; manual focusing when the subject enters the focusing range in the autofocus mode (ONE SHOT AF (single-shot autofocus)); close-up photography as close as 0.2 m; a true circular aperture that produces a better background blur effect; and a tight sealing structure for excellent dust and drip resistance.
