This document describes the features and characteristics of type A DC brake, which is suitable for all asynchronous motors. It has a simple installation method and can be used in both new and existing systems. It is maintenance-free and does not require replacement of parts. It is suitable for special voltages up to 600V for 20A devices and up to 690V for devices above 40A. It integrates a brake contactor and can be snapped onto a 35mm standard rail. It has IP 20 or IP 00 protection rating. It can be controlled via motor contactor and has adjustable parameters for brake current and brake time. It also has a potential-free output for motor contactor interlock during braking and a potential-free output for the brake contactor for devices above 40A.
