IL145567 is a one-chip PCM codec that converts speech signal into digital form and vice versa. The IC is designed to operate in synchronous and asynchronous systems and consists of a reference generator, filters on switching capacitors in transmission and reception channels, and two operational amplifiers. The IC performs signal companding under A-low and full differential processing of analog signals to reduce noise. Typical power dissipation is 40mW, reduced power is 1mW at ±5V.
