The readers operate from a linear DC power supply ranging from 5 VDC to 16 VDC.
Can expansion modules be removed after they are installed?
No. Once the expansion modules are installed they must not be removed.
What expansion modules are required for the iCLASS readers?
All terminal readers need an expansion module (RS232, RS485, USB, or UART) except the multiCLASS RP readers, which have built‑in proximity capability.
