IA8056 Linear Li‑Ion Battery Charger Datasheet
The IA8056 linear charger IC is designed for single‑cell Li‑ion or Li‑polymer batteries. It operates with a constant‑current/constant‑voltage algorithm, provides up to 1000 mA programmable charging current, and includes internal temperature monitoring, undervoltage lockout, and automatic re‑charge functions.
The device is supplied in an 8‑pin SOP‑PP package with a bottom heat‑sink. It can be powered from USB (5 V) or an external adapter (up to 8 V). The charging voltage is fixed at 4.2 V, while the charging current is set by an external resistor on the PROG pin. Standby current is as low as 55 µA, and the chip features thermal feedback to limit current when the junction temperature exceeds 145 °C. This manual is written in Chinese.
