It started as a LAN service in 1996 and moved to a web‑based platform in 1999, offering PDF full‑text downloads and searchable metadata for over 1,200 societies across many academic fields.
The manual explains how to prepare for use, perform basic and advanced journal searches, navigate additional menus such as latest updates and personal information, and handle tasks like uploading data and consulting FAQs. It also details the required confirmation of the user’s institution and the visual cues for PDF documents. This manual is written in Chinese.
