The TISP61089B is a dual forward-conducting buffered p-gate thyristor (SCR) overvoltage protector. It is designed to protect monolithic SLICs (Subscriber Line Interface Circuits) against overvoltages on the telephone line caused by lightning, a.c. power and ringing voltage.
