Use the following safety guidelines to help protect yourself and your notebook. When using your N521 Series notebook computer, do not operate it for an extended period with the base resting directly on your body to prevent discomfort or burns. Do not attempt to service the notebook yourself, always follow installation instructions. Avoid carrying a battery in places where it can short-circuit with metal objects, as excessive current flow can cause high temperatures and damage. Ensure that nothing rests on the AC adapter's power cable and that it is not in a place where it can be tripped over. Place the AC adapter in a ventilated area when in use and do not cover it with papers or use it inside a carrying case. Avoid pushing objects into air vents or openings, as it can cause fire or electric shock. Only use approved AC adapters and batteries for your notebook.
