Cisco's Advanced Services Module combines a highly distributed processing architecture with integrated VERITAS Storage Foundation for Networks software to deliver the highest virtualization performance and scale to meet the needs of the largest enterprises with just the addition of modules to the network. Cisco's Advanced Services Module is offered in 32-port configurations and accepts the same 2/1Gbps Fibre Channel Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) optical modules as the MDS 9000 Series Fibre Channel Switch Modules.
