The Everio 2011 high-definition camcorder features a back-illuminated BI CMOS sensor for capturing clear images in low-light conditions. It supports high-definition/standard-definition dual-format recording, and can record 1920 x 1080 resolution video, and edit 720 x 480 resolution video for playback on standard DVDs. In addition, the camcorder has Advanced Image Stabilise, an LCD touchscreen, face recognition function, dual-grip, auto light and auto flash.
