The HDW-2000 series is Sony's second generation mainstream high-definition camcorder and recorder product line, providing a full range of HDCAM format recording and editing functions, as well as the extremely important compatible playback function, including all standard-definition Betacam formats, and can be internally converted to a 1920x1080 digital sampling format, and then played back in HDTV high-definition television format.
