INTERSIL CA3338 CA3338A Manual

The CA3338 family are CMOS/SOS high speed R2R voltage output digital-to-analog converters. They can operate from a single +5V supply, at video speeds, and can produce “rail-to-rail” output swings. Internal level shifters and a pin for an optional second supply provide for an output range below digital ground. The data complement control allows the inversion of input data while the latch enable control provides either feedthrough or latched operation. Both ends of the R2R ladder network are available externally and may be modulated for gain or offset adjustments. In addition, “glitch” energy has been kept very low by segmenting and thermometer encoding of the upper 3 bits. The CA3338 is manufactured on a sapphire substrate to give low dynamic power dissipation, low output capacitance, and inherent latch-up resistance.

ISL6292 is an integrated single-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer battery charger capable of operating with an input voltage as low as 2.4V. This charger is designed to work with various types of AC adapters or a USB port. The ISL6292 operates as a linear charger when the AC adapter is a voltage source. The battery is charged in a CC/CV (constant current/constant voltage) profile. The charge current is programmable with an external resistor up to 2A. The ISL6292 can also work with a current-limited adapter to minimize the thermal dissipation. In this case, the ISL6292 combines the benefits of both a linear charger and a pulse charger. The ISL6292 features charge current thermal foldback to guarantee safe operation when the printed circuit board is space limited for thermal dissipation. Additional features include preconditioning of an over-discharged battery, an NTC thermistor interface for charging the battery in a safe temperature range, automatic recharge, and thermally enhanced QFN or DFN packages. INTERSIL HI-506 HI-507 HI-508 HI-509 Manual

The HI-506/HI-507 and HI-508/HI-509 are single 16-channel and 8-channel/differential 8-channel and 4-channel CMOS analog multiplexers. They utilize the Dielectric Isolation (DI) process, which eliminates latchup and offers lower substrate leakage and parasitic capacitance. The switching threshold for each digital input is established by an internal +5V reference, providing a guaranteed minimum of 2.4V for logic '1' and a maximum of 0.8V for logic '0'. It can directly interface with signals from most logic families, such as CMOS, TTL, DTL, and some PMOS, and features transient overvoltage protection.

INTERSIL HIP2101 Manual

The HIP2101 is a high frequency, 100V Half Bridge N-Channel power MOSFET driver IC from Intersil. It is equivalent to the HIP2100 with the added advantage of full TTL/CMOS compatible logic input pins. The low-side and high-side gate drivers are independently controlled and matched to 13ns. This gives users total control over dead-time for specific power circuit topologies. Undervoltage protection on both the low-side and high-side supplies force the outputs low. An on-chip diode eliminates the discrete diode required with other driver ICs. A new level-shifter topology yields the low- power benefits of pulsed operation with the safety of DC operation. Unlike some competitors, the high-side output returns to its correct state after a momentary undervoltage of the high-side supply.

INTERSIL ISL55002 Manual

ISL55002 is a high speed, low power, low cost monolithic operational amplifier from Intersil. The device features a 300V/µs slew rate and 200MHz bandwidth while requiring only 8.5mA of supply current per amplifier. The operating supply range of the ISL55002 is from ±15V down to ±2.5V. For single-supply operation, the ISL55002 operates from 30V down to 5V. The ISL55002 also features an extremely wide output voltage swing of -12.75V/+13.4V with VS = ±15V and RL = 1kΩ. At a gain of +1, the ISL55002 has a -3dB bandwidth of 200MHz with a phase margin of 55°. Because of its conventional voltage-feedback topology, the ISL55002 allow the use of reactive or non-linear elements in its feedback network. This versatility combined with low cost and 140mA of output-current drive makes the ISL55002 an ideal choice for price-sensitive applications requiring low power and high speed. The ISL55002 is available in an 8 Ld SO package and is specified for operation over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

INTERSIL DG411 DG412 DG413 Manual

The DG411 series is a monolithic CMOS analog switch with four independent single pole throw (SPST) analog switches and TTL and CMOS compatible digital inputs. These switches feature lower analog ON-resistance (<35Ω) and faster switch time (tON<175ns) compared to the DG211 or DG212. Charge injection has been reduced, simplifying sample and hold applications. The improvements in the DG411 series are made possible by using a high voltage silicon-gate process. An epitaxial layer prevents the latch-up associated with older CMOS technologies. The 44V maximum voltage range permits controlling 40VP-P signals. Power supplies may be single-ended from +5V to 44V, or split from ±5V to ±20V. The four switches are bilateral, equally matched for AC or bidirectional signals. The ON-resistance variation with analog signals is quite low over a ±15V analog input range. The switches in the DG411 and DG412 are identical, differing only in the polarity of the selection logic. Two of the switches in the DG413 (#2 and #3) use the logic of the DG211 and DG411 (i.e., a logic “0” turns the switch ON) and the other two switches use DG212 and DG412 positive logic. This permits independent control of turn-on and turn-off times for SPDT configurations, permitting “break-before-make” or “make-before-break” operation with a minimum of external logic.

INTERSIL ISL8106Manual

ISL8106 is a single-phase synchronous buck PWM controller from Intersil with an input voltage range of +7.0V to +25.0V. It features Intersil's Robust Ripple Regulator (R3) technology, which delivers exceptional dynamic response to input voltage and output load transients. Integrated MOSFET drivers, 5V LDO, and bootstrap diode result in fewer components and smaller implementation area for power supply systems. The ISL8106 features a 1.5ms digital soft-start and can be started into a pre-biased output voltage. A resistor divider is used to program the output voltage setpoint. The ISL8106 can be configured to operate in forced-continuous- conduction-mode (FCCM) or in diode-emulation-mode (DEM), which improves light-load efficiency. In FCCM the controller always operates as a synchronous rectifier, switching the bottom-side MOSFET regardless of the output load. With DEM enabled, the bottom-side MOSFET is disabled preventing negative current flow from the output inductor during low load operation. This makes the ISL8106 an excellent choice for all “green” applications. An audio filter prevents the PWM switching frequency from entering the audible spectrum due to extremely light load while in DEM. A PGOOD pin featuring a unique fault-identification capability significantly reduces system trouble-shooting time and effort. The pull-down resistance of the PGOOD pin is 30Ω for an overcurrent fault, 60Ω for OVP fault.
