Sony launched the XDCAM series optical recording system based on disc in 2004, which uses professional discs as the medium and employs excellent blue-violet laser technology. XDCAM devices can record various formats and data, and can record MPEG IMX and DVCAM video files, metadata, and low-resolution data scripts onto a single disc.
