The AL-MK8 activated alumina from Resett Engineering is a chemically impregnated granular material for removing H2S and other gases.
About this manual
AL-MK8 is an activated alumina granulated into spherical, highly porous particles (average diameter 3.8 mm) that provide a large contact surface and high chemical activity per unit weight. The material is impregnated with a specific mixture of chemicals and KMnO4, making it effective for the removal of H2S, SO₂, NOₓ, formaldehyde, ethylene, acid gases, light hydrocarbons and volatile organic substances from gas streams.
When the granules become exhausted they change color from deep purple to gray, indicating that the active sites have been consumed. The product is classified as Class 1, does not support combustion, and inhibits the growth of mushrooms, molds and bacteria, ensuring safe handling and storage. This manual is written in Italian.
