Elbasvir/Grazoprevir (Zepatier™) Drug Interaction Guide

Elbasvir/grazoprevir (Zepatier™) is a hepatitis C virus (HCV) medication used to treat chronic hepatitis C. The medication works by inhibiting viral replication. Elbasvir and grazoprevir are substrates of CYP3A4 and P-glycoprotein (P-gp). Coadministration with moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers is likely to result in interactions. Grazoprevir is a substrate of OATP1B1/3 transporters. Coadministration with medications that inhibit OATP1B1/3 should be avoided.
