The present invention relates to immunoglobulin chimeric monomer-dimer heterodimers. The present invention relates to chimeric monomer-dimer heterodimeric proteins, wherein said protein comprises a first and second polypeptide chain, wherein said first chain comprises at least a portion of an immunoglobulin constant region and a bioactive molecule, wherein said second chain comprises at least a portion of an immunoglobulin constant region, does not contain the bioactive molecule of the first chain. The present invention also relates to methods of using and preparing the chimeric monomer-dimer heterodimeric proteins of the present invention.
