New York State Single Point of Access Guidance Manual

This document introduces the Single Point of Access program initiated by the New York State Office of Mental Health, which aims to expand the county's existing community mental health system and help make it a more cohesive and better coordinated system. Erie County Adult SPOA has established a uniform process for receiving and evaluating referrals, matching individuals to the services they need, triaging access so that those most in need get priority access, and monitoring the results.
