This document is about the warranty policy of Great Planes® Model Manufacturing Co. The warranty covers defects in both material and workmanship, but does not cover component parts damaged by use or modification. Great Planes' liability is limited to the original cost of the kit. No liability is assumed for any damage resulting from the use of the user-assembled product. If the buyer is not willing to accept the associated liability, it is advised to return the kit in new and unused condition. To make a warranty claim, the defective part or item should be sent to Hobby Services along with a detailed description of the problem and a photocopy of the purchase receipt. The document also emphasizes the importance of reading through the manual before starting construction.
