NE/SA/SE556/NE556-1 is a dual timer circuit, which is a dual integrated timer circuit of 555. It has high precision and stability and is used to generate accurate time delays or oscillation. The two timers operate independently of each other, sharing only VCC and GND. The clock can be provided by an external resistor and capacitor for each timing function.
