CP 15BU28 supplementary capacitor is an AC capacitor designed for individually correcting the power factor of transformers and magnetic ballasts in discharge light sources (such as fluorescent lamps, halogen and ceramic metal halide lamps, high-pressure mercury lamps, and sodium lamps) at line frequencies of 50 or 60Hz. This improves the power factor of the light sources, with cosĪ¼ exceeding 0.85.
