CP 30ET28 supplementary capacitor is an AC capacitor designed for the single correction of the power factor of transformers and magnetic ballasts within discharge lighting (such as fluorescent lamps, halogen and ceramic metal halide lamps, high pressure mercury lamps and sodium lamps) with a supply line frequency of 50 or 60Hz. This enhances the power factor of the light source, with cosμ exceeding 0.85.
