The HP ProCurve Switch 6200yl-24G-mGBIC is a 1U high-performance Layer 3 stackable switch with 24 mini-GBIC slots and 1 expansion slot for an optional 4-port 10-GbE module. The switch can aggregate traffic from the network edge to the network core and supports various Gigabit mini-GBICs such as SX, LX, LH and 1000 Base-T. It is based on a custom ProVision ASIC that allows for the implementation of demanding network features such as QoS and security in a scalable and granular way. Through its high-performance architecture, 10-GbE functionality and programmable ASIC, the switch offers excellent investment protection and outstanding flexibility and scalability.
