This document describes the features and characteristics of the XC4000E, XC4000EX, and XC4000XL families. They are field-programmable gate arrays with abundant flip-flops, flexible function generators, dedicated high-speed carry logic, etc. They are fully PCI compliant and have system performance beyond 80 MHz. They also feature low power segmented routing architecture and programmable input pull-up or pull-down resistors.
