Winbond W6630CR Stereo Audio DAC Datasheet
The W6630CR stereo audio DAC chip integrates 8× digital interpolation filters, 64× multi‑level oversampling delta‑sigma modulators, an analog low‑pass filter and output amplifiers. It accepts 16‑ or 18‑bit linear PCM data in normal or I²S format and offers both hardware and software control modes.
Designed for digital audio applications such as CD, DVD, MP3 players, set‑top boxes and multimedia PCs, the device provides high‑performance audio output with 100 dB SNR, 96 dB dynamic range and typical –90 dB THD+N. Power is supplied from +2.7 V to +5.25 V (typical +5 V) and the chip is packaged in a 20‑pin SSOP.
