Mini-Array MAC-1 Light Curtain System User Manual
The Mini-Array measurement light curtain system (MAC series) is designed for online dimension and shape measurement, part counting, and similar applications. A typical system includes a MAC-1 controller, two light curtains (emitter and receiver pairs) and the required cabling. Beam spacing can be 0.38 in (9.7 mm) or 0.75 in (19.05 mm) and curtain height ranges from 6 in to 4 ft.
The MAC-1 controller provides programmable scan analysis modes, two configurable outputs, and RS‑232/RS‑485 communication for PC or PLC integration. Software running on Windows or OS/2 allows parameter file (PSF) creation, alignment analysis, and self‑diagnostics.
