GST GST5009 LF Magnetics Module Data Sheet

The GST5009 LF magnetics module is designed for long‑haul gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE‑T full‑duplex applications and supports four pairs of Category 5 UTP cable. It provides cable isolation, low common‑mode emissions, and complies with the IEEE 802.3ab standard as well as RoHS requirements.

Key electrical specifications at 25 °C include a 1:1 turns ratio, cross‑talk attenuation of –45 dB (30 MHz), –40 dB (60 MHz) and –35 dB (100 MHz), insertion loss of –1.0 dB (1‑100 MHz), return loss of –18 dB (1‑100 MHz), DCMR of –40 dB (1‑100 MHz), and a hi‑pot rating of 1500 Vrms. The module operates from 0 °C to +70 °C and can be stored from –25 °C to +125 °C.
