The 54LS93 / 74LS93 is a 4‑bit binary counter built from four master‑slave flip‑flops. It can operate as a divide‑by‑2 counter and, with additional gating, as a divide‑by‑8 counter. The device includes a selectable reset function and allows the B input to be tied to Q for maximum counting length.

The data sheet lists typical parameters such as a 32 MHz clock frequency, supply voltage range of 4.5 V to 5.5 V, and operating temperature from 0 °C to 75 °C.
