The M5 Protease Inhibitor Cocktail is a DMSO‑soluble mixture of six broad‑spectrum protease inhibitors designed to protect proteins during extraction, purification, and downstream assays such as Western blot, co‑IP, pull‑down, and immunofluorescence. It is intended for research use only and helps maintain protein integrity by inhibiting serine, cysteine, aspartic, and metalloproteases.

The product should be stored at –20 °C with a shelf life of two years. Before use, thaw to room temperature and add the cocktail to lysates at a 1:100 (v/v) ratio. Safety precautions include wearing a lab coat and disposable gloves, as the inhibitors are hazardous to skin, eyes, and respiratory tract.
